SnOw Much Love

I realize it is totally cliche to say this:
but, my heart really is so full of love.
Full of love for the people I have met & the year I have had at Snow College.
Here are a few photos just from yesterday to document:

Last night was the SBO's final get together:

This year has been so incredibly good.
I feel such an overwhelming sense of gratitude.

Hynotic Trip to Hawaii

As part of our leadership class, we get to participate in 10 hours of community service.
5 of those hrs. were enjoyably spent helping with a special needs rodeo in Mt. Pleasant.
Austin (in the red trousers) wanted to hypnotize a group of us.
Who'd want to pass that up?
So there we were, in the middle of an indoor rodeo ground, on a hypnotic trip to Hawaii.
While in Hawaii some rather curious events occurred:
we all won free sports cars
watched poor little girls with wilting flowers
drank what we thought was lemonade but it was actually vinegar
tried out for the part of "Captain Jack Sparrow" in Pirates of the Caribbean
Attempted to Hula Dance.
So as you can see, Austin should be hired for your next social function or family gathering.
Last week, the Easter Bunny could be found delivering eggs to publicize for the 10,000 Easter Egg hunt.
watching Klayton in this suit was honestly a riot.
Here's to hoping your Easter was as delightful as mine was!

Perspective

LIFE JUST ISN’T:
Life isn't about keeping score. It's not about how many people call you and it's not about who you've dated, are dating or haven't dated at all. It isn't about who you've kissed, what sport you play, or which guy or girl likes you. It's not about your shoes or your hair or the color of your skin or where you live or go to school. In fact, it's not about grades, money, clothes, or colleges that accept you or not. Life isn't about if you have lots of friends, or if you are alone, and it's not about how accepted or unaccepted you are.
Life just isn't about that.

But life is about who you love and who you hurt. It's about how you feel about yourself. It's about trust, happiness and compassion. It's about sticking up for your friends and replacing inner hate with love. Life is about avoiding jealousy, overcoming ignorance and building confidence. It's about what you say and what you mean. It’s about seeing people for who they are and not what they hate. Most of all, it is about choosing to use your life to touch someone else's in a way that could
never have been achieved otherwise.

These choices are what life's about.

Bowling with Bob

"It's a highly social experience"
"Out down back swing"
"Positive attitude, Positive results."
If you go to Snow College, Bowling with Bob is a must-take.
Bob Trythall can surely be heard repeatedly saying one of the above phrases.
If  I were to pick Snow College parents, Bob would be my #1 choice for Dad.
I just love him. He truly cares about the students & has great life advice.
As part of the class, you are put into teams to compete for hamburgers.
Earlier in the semester, my first bowling team beat out all the rest & won the highly acclaimed & coveted title of champions & our reward were burgers.
Victory never tasted so good.
Bob our life & bowling coach & teammate Kelsey
Today, I got a whopping score of 199 & was the top female bowler in the class.
This isn't normal.
Talk about best day of my life.
My right eye watered--that's how happy I was.
It would seem miracles are still rampant & prevalent here in the 84627.

Domestic Thursday

This past Thursday while Mom & Rachel were Alpine School District Spring Breaking, they came down to the 84627 to visit me!
While my Mom & I went to Aerobics class, Klayton was so nice & took Rachel on the date of a lifetime.
He showed her all the Snow College hot-spots,
Aub was kind enough to join the party & she even let Rachel sign the Publicity wall under my name,

 How cute are they?!
 family pictures ensued,
& Klayton took Rachel to historic Pollie's Candy & Ice Cream shoppe to finish off their date.
My Mom is so cute & told me to invite all my friends over for domestic night.
So naturally I invited my closest 14 girls.
My mom taught us how to make these cute flowers & we snacked on delicious Easter treats, pink lemonade & ice cream sundaes & all the while Tangled played in the background.
As the credits for Tangled began to roll, Rachel insisted that a dance party begin & all the remaining guests who had finished their hair flowers were required to participate.
I love these two so much,
& i loved having them come & even sleep over in my bed!
(I took a picture of them but my Mom promptly deleted it behind my back.)
The 1st annual domestic night was a wild success & I love my Mom & Rache so much for humoring me & coming down to hang out.
Aren't they the world's greatest?
